Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and electronic components on underground mobile equipment.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs or replacements as required.
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Provide technical support and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Redpath policies and procedures.
- Identify and actively manage potential risks.
Qualifications
- Auto Electrical Trade Qualification
- Experience working with heavy mobile mining equipment (underground preferred but not essential)
- current CPR certificate (HLTCPR201A - Perform CPR)
- working at heights SOA
- strong fault finding & diagnostic skills
- Air conditioning licence (preferred)
- Valid manual driver's licence
- A positive, proactive attitude aligned with Redpath's motto: "Consider it done - safely."
