Your Impact
As an Officer, Procurement Services, you will ensure the accurate preparation, processing, and delivery of purchase orders to support Newmont’s procurement operations. Your attention to detail will help maintain data integrity, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with procurement standards.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
- Prepare and process purchase orders in the appropriate system.
- Maintain required documentation and reconcile invoices with purchase orders, goods receipts, and requisitions.
- Address and report data quality queries.
- Verify accuracy of data before submitting for approval.
- Support process changes and system enhancements to improve efficiency.
- Assist with internal and external audit activities.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
- Technical qualification in Business, Accounting, or Finance (minimum).
- Foundational skills in ERP/SAP procurement modules and Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of procurement processes, payment processes, and compliance standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Your Work Environment
- You will be part of Newmont’s Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Costa Rica, working within the Corporate function. The role is people-focused and involves cross-functional collaboration with global stakeholders across People, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain teams.
- While the position is intended to be hybrid, as we establish our foundation, we will begin on-site to foster strong relationships, align our strategies, and ensure a solid framework for long-term success.
- This role is for the night shift schedule.
- Compensation will be aligned with the local Costa Rican market and paid in Costa Rican colones (CRC)
