Your role
- Responsible for the safe delivery of a portfolio of projects to agreed schedule, budget, scope, and quality and is responsible for the safety and welfare of staff working on the project.
- Responsible for the successful technical and commercial delivery of the projects in accordance with AtkinsRéalis governance requirements.
- Providing bid phase support as a Bid Manager on medium to small projects.
- Delivery of project management and contract administration throughout projects life cycle.
- Ensuring that there is a common understanding of requirements and scope, schedule, costs, constraints, risk and interfaces across the team.
- Leading the project team – building, motivating, maintaining, coaching, guiding, and developing the team.
- Communicating, liaising, and engaging with clients on a project-by-project basis.
- Deliver governance arrangements for projects within corporate and business policies, directives, guidance, and procedures to ensure a robust outcome.
- Manage approved sub-contractor procurement processes.
- Cognizant delivery of projects and tasks in accordance with the AtkinsRéalis Values; Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, and Innovation.
About you
- Engineering degree with 5-years project management experience preferable.
- Understands and has experience in capital assets management project for Nuclear Power Plants.
- Experience of working closely with multi-disciplinary design teams.
- The ability to understand clients' requirements.
- Ability to lead a delivery team in a positive and confident manner, demonstrating an appropriate level of knowledge, skills, and attitude.
- An aptitude towards work winning through strong service delivery and understanding of bid process and different pricing models.
- Excellent interpersonal skills combined with sound business acumen and strong risk/commercial awareness to deliver profits.
- Demonstrates a proactive and flexible working attitude, is adaptable and responds positively in response to challenges.
