Project Manager - Substation Project - Bavaria, Germany - Long term contract!
EarthStream is currently seeking an experienced, client-facing Project Manager with a strong background in delivering electrical infrastructure projects across the DACH region, and a proven track record in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management.
The successful candidate will lead a substation project in Germany, overseeing delivery from execution through to commissioning and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the substation project, ensuring completion is safe, on time, within scope, and aligned with client requirements.
- Drive and enforce compliance with HSE standards and CDM regulations across all project phases.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes .
- Oversee project documentation, reporting, and compliance (RAMS, permits, ITPs, etc.).
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client and key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, infrastructure, and transmission/distribution networks.
- Proven experience managing large-scale electrical or substation projects.
- Excellent HSE track record within infrastructure or energy projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent in both English and German.
- Engineering degree or diploma, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience delivering substation scopes of work is highly desirable.
