Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Mine Training Supervisor, you will be part of the Mine Operations Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Perform administrative duties including maintaining training files/records and copying/scanning documentation;
- Compile, verify, and enter all training data into the Training Information System (SAP) accurately and on time;
- Maintain data integrity, monitor training completions and certification expiries, and generate require reports;
- Recommend system configuration changes or process improvements based on best practices and business needs;
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly compliance reports as required;
- Establish, control, and maintain filing systems for all training related documentation in accordance with retention and confidentiality requirements;
- Update and maintain training records, training programs, and system content; provide system reports to stakeholders as required;
- Assist with scheduling, coordination, and logistics of training activities;
- Maintain inventory and tracking system for training equipment (data projectors, projector screens, cameras, audio speakers, etc.);
- Manage and support departmental onboarding for new employees and contractors to ensure a consistent experience;
- Act as a point of contact for training-related inquiries and provide system support to employees and supervisors;
- Assist with audit preparation and ensure training documentation meets regulatory, safety, and corporate compliance requirements;
- Manage housekeeping paperwork and safety-related data;
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders;
- Perform other administrative and departmental support duties as assigned.
What You Need To Succeed
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or related program;
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in an administrative support role;
- High proficiency level with Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel; experience with Success Factors and SAP is a strong asset;
- Strong attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
- Demonstrated experience with accurate data entry, records management, and report generation;
- Well-developed organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills;
- Effective written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a diverse team environment;
- Proven commitment to health, safety, environmental, and compliance standards;
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion;
- Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 7 days of work, followed by 7 days for transportation and rest;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
