Job Description
Group Geometallurgist – Rest of World
Position Description
The
Regional (Group) Geometallurgist is the functional authority for geometallurgy across the
region, responsible for
integrating geological and metallurgical understanding to optimise orebody value. This role defines and governs geometallurgical standards and work programs, ensuring that geological inputs meaningfully inform processing performance, recovery, and concentrate quality. Working closely with Regional Processing, Group Geology, and site teams, the role drives a feedback loop between plant performance and geological models to improve predictability, reduce risk, and enhance revenue outcomes. The position operates as a discipline leader, working across multiple sites without direct line management, influencing practices, standards, and outcomes to maximise value from the orebody.
