Redpath Mining Australia is seeking an experienced
Boilermaker to join our team on the
Cowal Gold Project. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected mining contractor on a world‑class underground operation, supporting a fleet of modern mobile mining equipment.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out high‑quality fabrication, repairs, and maintenance on a range of
mobile underground mining equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation across the site. This position is offered on a
14 days on / 14 days off roster, providing true work–life balance.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform boilermaking, welding, and fabrication tasks on underground mobile plant
- Diagnose structural faults and carry out repairs to OEM standards
- Support maintenance teams with breakdowns and scheduled work
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Redpath procedures
- Contribute to a positive, team‑focused site culture
Qualifications
About You
- Trade‑qualified Boilermaker
- Experience with underground mobile equipment (e.g., loaders, trucks, drills)
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work autonomously and within a small team
- Previous underground mining experience highly regarded
