Technical Qualification:
Hot Rolling Mill operations leadership.
Technical Requirements:
- Lead operation execution safely (PTW, LOTO, risk assessment) and ensure full EHS compliance.
- Control daily/weekly/monthly production targets, availability and recovery performance.
- Manage people’s performance: coaching, staffing coverage, discipline and development.
- Monitor performance KPIs (availability, production, recovery) and drive corrective actions.
- Maintain SOPs and visual quality management; ensure customer specs compliance.
- Lead investigations for critical breakdowns/quality issues and close actions with owners.
- Coordinate Planning/Scheduling to achieve on-time delivery to other stakeholders.
- Plan, supervise and validate contractor work including scope definition, quality and safety.
- Support shutdown/turnaround planning, job packaging and execution readiness with maintenance.
- Support improvement projects and contribute to capital project proposals and execution.
- Control cost within budget and report performance with clear recovery plan.
- Ensure mobile equipment and consumables availability to have a continuous operation
- Drive continuous improvement, TPM maturity and employee engagement activities.
- Implement TPM/Lean/ practices and sustain 5S and housekeeping standards.
Education & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or technical diploma/certificate in relevant engineering.
Years of Experience: minimum 10 years.
