Electrical Manager - Data Centre Construction Project - Contract!
Earthstream is seeking experienced Electrical Managers to join a major data centre construction project in Belgium. This role will be responsible for leading and managing all electrical activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all electrical installation activities on the data centre project.
- Coordinate and oversee electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Monitor project progress against programme milestones and proactively address delays or risks.
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications, industry standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Review and manage drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, and design changes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Manager or Senior Electrical Engineer on large-scale construction projects.
- Previous experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, industrial, or major infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems including MV/LV distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and critical power infrastructure.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and quality procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Degree, HNC/HND, or recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Desirable
- Previous hyperscale data centre project experience.
- Commissioning experience.
- Relevant industry certifications and safety qualifications.
