- Grade 12
- Full N2 with relevant trade theory
- Applicable Engineering Aid Certificate
Skills Requirements
- Experience in heavy industry, gained preferably in a furnace smelting operation
- Experience on SAP and Isometric will be advantageous
- Knowledge of the HSEC systems
JOB OBJECTIVES
In this role you will be responsible to the Artisan (Fitter) for the following:
- Assisting with maintaining and repairing plant equipment and to install new equipment when required
- Planned maintenance system inspection with fitter
- Overtime will be worked when so required
- Shift work can be expected during shutdowns
- Standby work will be worked when so required
