Horton goes techie
While at the show, MINING.com’s Michael McCrae asked the company’s Global Associate Marketing Manager, Kevin Albers, for more details about the system, which is used for designing engine cooling packages.
Albers explained that the software is attached to the firm’s new website and it gives users suggestions as to which fan is the right choice for them, taking into account their applications’ specific needs.
The software will be also updated continuously. “We don’t have our fan drives in there right now, but eventually we are going to have our entire portfolio of products for both fans and fan drives in the software and it will be a full system configurator,” he said.
