VIDEO: Reasons the US needs a better mining permitting process

Permitting delays are hindering United States’ economic growth, says The National Mining Association (NMA), which estimates the nations sits on nearly $6.2 trillion worth of key undeveloped mineral resources, including gold and copper.

The NMA developed the following video, explaining why and how a predictable and manageable permitting process could ensure a stable supply of critical minerals that, in turn, would help create jobs and improve the country’s economy.
