Bucyrus Acquires Bastro

Diesel Progress (December 2, 2008) – Mining equipment manufacturer Bucyrus International, Inc., South Milwaukee, Wis., announced that it has completed the acquisition of OKD, Bastro a.s., an engineering services and manufacturing support company located in the Czech Republic. Its primary capabilities will support Bucyrus’ initiatives in the region, the company said. The price of the acquisition was not disclosed.
