During the initial phase of the project ASI will retrofit five Komatsu 930-E Ultra Class haul trucks to autonomous operation at the Arturo mine.

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) announced the completion of facilities expansion involving their unmanned vehicle test track.

The joint effort is part of Anglo American’s FutureSmart™ initiative through which the company is partnering with third party technology groups like ASI to drive innovation within the mining industry.
