BC Conservatives Leader John Cummins visited 100 Mile House recently, and had a lot to say about the Prosperity Mine in the Chilcotin. The issues with the proposed gold and copper mine project need to be addressed, he explained. The Prosperity Mine environmental assessment received approval from the B.C. Liberal government, but was later given the thumbs down by the federal Conservative government.
