South Africa and Zimbabwe mining and investment industries come face to face at the inaugural 2018 Harare Indaba as Zimbabwe flings open wide its doors to doing business and has firmly put its business cap on in committing to a one day conference in Johannesburg on 26th March, set up by Resources for Africa, the custodians of the annual Joburg Indaba for mining and investment.

Chamber of Mines CEO Roger Baxter confirmed that Chamber of Mines executives and office bearers decided not to attend last night’s Joburg Indaba banquet.

Promising news emanated from the first day of the 2016 Junior Indaba from the African Union Commission, Department of Minerals and Resources and other industry stakeholders.

Stemming from conversations a year ago at the Junior Indaba, innovation in the junior mining space has moved on to how quickly the sector can implement innovative technologies, develop new investment strategies, adapt in virgin territories and communicate clearly with community stakeholders.

Hot commodities, crowd funding, emerging African territories and killer ingredients for deserving funding alternatives are just some of the headliners at this week’s 2016 Junior Indaba taking place at The Country Club, in Auckland Park Johannesburg.
