Fatality at Rockwell Mine

A fatal accident occurred on the morning of June 17 at Rockwell Diamonds Tirisano mine project’. According to a company release, an employee suffered fatal injuries at a conveyor belt installation on the mine.

All operations at Tirisano were immediately halted and the Mine, Health and Safety inspectorate of the Department of Mineral Resources was notified and has been on site.
