Fortescue Mining chooses EEMIS to design railway corridor

Fortescue Mining has installed EEMIS (Exploration & Earthworks Management Information System) Combo Systems in all heavy plant designing the 167 km railway corridor and spur to its new mines. The EEMIS system is also being used by contractors on site for vehicle guidance and avoiding Aboriginal heritage sites that fall within the rail corridor. The rail project is being managed by Calibre Rail and the chief earthmoving contractor is CV.
