About the role
We are looking for a Inventory Administrator to play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of Redpath Australia’s inventory management systems. This position supports the Procurement and Supply Chain team by maintaining precise inventory records, coordinating stock movements, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements.
This is a hands-on, detail-orientated role that works closely with site teams, stores and purchasing teams to support operational readiness and business continuity. This role would suit a grad student who has recently completed a degree in Supply Chain & Logistics Management.
Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate and up to date inventor records within the Oracle ERP system.
- Monitor stock levels and reconcile discrepancies between system data and cycle counts
- Prepare and distribute inventory reports and management as required
- Maintain and control the national inventory catalogue, ensuring accurate part description, units of measure and product categorisation.
- Review and approve new item requests, catalogue changes, and obsolete approvals.
- Monitor national inventory data to ensure system accuracy across all sites
- Develop and distribute weekly/monthly inventory health dashboards (SOH accuracy, aged stock, slow moving items and stockouts).
Qualifications
About You
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
- Experience in the use of systems and databases preferably Oracle or SAP.
- Highly developed written communication skills with the ability to maintain strong attention to detail and produce high quality work in tight timeframes;
- Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels;
- Ability to prioritize, organize and complete work within established deadlines whilst maintaining consistent level of professionalism;
- Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment with multiple demands for different managers or departments;
- Pro-active approach to resolving queries and problems;
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and an environment of innovation.
