About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geologist to join our Exploration & Resource Development team. In this role, you will provide technical expertise to support advanced exploration operations and resource development projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable exploration activities, contributing to our Strategy 2040 by focusing on areas with the highest geological potential.
Key Responsibilities
Promote a Safety First culture and implement EHSS standards across exploration operations.
Conduct geological assessments and surveys to define advanced exploration targets.
Collaborate with geophysicists, geochemists, and engineers to optimize exploration strategies.
Collect, analyze, and interpret geological data from drill cores, geophysical surveys, and remote sensing.
Prepare detailed technical reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Supervise field teams executing exploration and geotechnical drilling programs.
Train geoscientists and field personnel in drill program management and geological logging.
Implement workflow improvements to enhance productivity, data quality, and operational safety.
Stay updated on industry trends and recommend new technologies and practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geoscience or related discipline.
7+ years of experience in mining and minerals industry, preferably in exploration.
Expertise in Cu, Ni, Zn, Li, Ag, Au, and REE systems.
Hands-on experience with Porphyry Cu-Au, VHMS, and/or Magmatic Ni-Cu systems.
Strong knowledge of JORC and NI 43-101 standards.
Proficiency in geological modeling software (Leapfrog) and GIS tools (ArcGIS Pro).
Excellent technical writing and communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills
QA/QC experience in exploration data management.
Ability to lead and develop teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with KSA mining and exploration sector (optional).
