Job Purpose
To support the identification and development of mineral exploration targets through geological data analysis, modeling, and integration of geoscientific datasets. The Specialist contributes to building a robust exploration pipeline by applying mineral systems thinking and geospatial tools..
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in the development of geological models and target generation workflows.
- Compile and interpret geophysical, geochemical, and geological datasets.
- Support ranking and prioritization of exploration targets.
- Contribute to technical reports and presentations for internal reviews.
- Maintain and update target databases and GIS layers.
- Collaborate with geologists and data analysts to refine targeting strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards in exploration planning.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience And Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field. Postgraduate studies or certifications in mineral exploration are a plus.
Minimum Experience
3–5 years of experience in mineral exploration or geoscience data analysis, preferably with exposure to target generation.
