Job Qualifications
Key Skills & Knowledge:
- College diploma in heavy equipment technician or another related field.
- Certificate of Qualification in Ontario is preferred.
- Completed apprenticeship is required.
Relevant Experience
7 or more years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician.
1 or more years of leadership experience.
Previous exposure to lean and multi-disciplinary team leadership is desirable, but not essential.
Digital literacy and experience with fleet management systems is required.

About The Role
We are actively seeking a Supervisor, Mine Maintenance to join the Côté Gold Mine Site, reporting to the Senior Supervisor Mine Maintenance. This role leads and coordinates mobile maintenance employees and resources.
Working closely to lead and deliver safe, responsible and effective mine maintenance services. The Supervisor, Mine Maintenance supports coaches, trains, and creates space for the team to be successful.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate safety leadership by consistently adhering to, sponsoring, and enforcing safety and environment standard; conduct worksite inspections, safe work observations, and lead or participate in investigations.
- Lead, mentor, and empower the maintenance team to deliver world-class mobile maintenance by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, and modeling professionalism, discipline, and dedication.
- Foster an inclusive, high‑performance culture by building balanced teams with complementary skills, supporting professional growth, and conducting meaningful performance reviews.
- Ensure operational readiness and capability by aligning training with current and future Côté Gold needs and ensuring adequate resources (people, tools, and equipment) are available to achieve maintenance targets.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement by analyzing maintenance KPIs, challenging the status quo, and implementing new methods, approaches, or policies to improve safety, cost, and productivity.
- Coordinate and optimize maintenance execution through critical thinking and collaboration to maximize value, reduce waste, and safely meet business and maintenance objectives.
- Provide clear shift leadership and communication by directing the maintenance execution workforce, coordinating with site teams, ensuring accurate equipment and shift logs, and escalating deficiencies for follow‑up.
- Collaborate across disciplines to deliver reliability by actively contributing expertise, participating in multi‑disciplinary teams, and driving solutions to achieve shared operational goals
