Technical Lead - Embedded Systems - EV Charging – Paris/hybrid
Earthstream is currently looking for a Technical Lead with strong EV Charging experience to join an exciting business that provides end to end charging solutions to the commercial sector in France.
This role is essential to the success of operating their charging station network in France, and you will be the key link between Operations, Firmware, and R&D teams.
Your responsibilities will include transforming complex technical incidents into structural improvements in firmware and technical architecture, having a direct and measurable impact on the national reliability and availability of the charging infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1Level 3 Technical Support (N3) & Expertise
- Log & Protocol Analysis
- Embedded Linux & Systems Expertise
- Integration, Qualification & Technical Evolution
Ideal skills and experience:
- Strong expertise in OCPP (1.6J / 2.0.1) and charging station backends
- Solid experience troubleshooting embedded Linux systems in production environments
- Proven ability to investigate complex incidents end-to-end using logs + traces + system tools
- Comfortable working across multiple technical layers: firmware, backend, network, hardware
- A pragmatic, structured mindset: you don’t just fix issues, you prevent them from happening again
- Strong communication skills
