Your Impact
As the Senior Director of Investor Relations, you will shape and govern Newmont’s global investor relations strategy. You will define and communicate our investment thesis, guide external understanding of our financial and operational performance, and ensure consistent, high‑quality engagement with the global investment community. Your leadership will build long‑term trust, enhance market confidence, and directly influence how Newmont is perceived by shareholders worldwide.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
- Lead the development and execution of a multi‑year investor relations strategy and shareholder engagement framework.
- Oversee quarterly earnings activities, including slides, scripts, Q&A materials, and market messaging.
- Interpret investor sentiment and market trends to advise senior leadership.
- Represent Newmont at major investment conferences, roadshows, and site visits.
- Partner across global functions to synthesize key operational and financial information for the market.
- Lead and develop IR teams in Denver and Melbourne, including expanding engagement with ASX CDI and APAC investors.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, equity research, or capital markets.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, disclosure requirements, and the broader gold mining industry.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Exceptional writing, presentation, and executive‑level communication abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to write prepared remarks for executives within tight time frames.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and relationship‑building skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Executive presence, detail orientation, and the ability to perform under tight deadlines.

You will operate in a dynamic, fast‑paced global environment, collaborating closely with senior leaders, finance teams, operations, and cross‑functional partners. The role involves high visibility, frequent interaction with institutional investors, and representation of Newmont across international markets. You will lead teams in both Denver and Melbourne, reflecting the global scope of the investor relations function.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $210,105 to $307,900. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance. This role also will be eligible for participation in a discretionary long-term incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may receive awards based on their level and individual performance.
