Job description:
Overall Job Purpose
- The Graduate Trainee will undergo a structured development program aimed at equipping them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience to excel in their chosen field.
- This role provides hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to various aspects of the business operations at FQM Trident Limited.
Specific Job Responsibility
The specific tasks to be performed by the position holder will include.
- Participate in structured on-the-job training programs across different departments.
- Support departmental projects, operations, and daily activities.
- Conduct research, data analysis, and reporting to aid decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior staff and cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies in all assigned tasks.
- Engage in continuous learning and skill development through mentorship and training sessions.
- Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to improve business processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of tasks, findings, and progress reports.
Job Specific Competencies
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of mining legislation, SOPs, and operational procedures.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and risk assessment methodologies.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to tackle practical, production-oriented problems through mini-projects.
- Project Management: Skills in managing projects, including planning, execution, and reporting.

Experience required to perform in this job
- No prior experience required.
- Internships or practical experience in mining operations will be advantageous.
- Ability to multi-task & work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft office suit
