Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Supervisor, Engineering, you will be part of the Engineering Department. You will oversee all mining activities at the new underground pump deposit, ensuring best practices in design, execution, and compliance. Located 5 kilometers from the main camp, the pump satellite deposit is scheduled to begin development in Q3 2026, with production activities starting in 2028. During the initial two-year development phase, you will conduct frequent underground inspections and manage survey, ventilation, construction, and ground control follow-ups related to development activities. You will produce practical prints and mark‑ups and work closely with Operations, Geology, Geotechnical, and Planning teams to resolve constructability and sequencing challenges. As the mine transitions into production, your scope will expand to include drill, blast and backfill responsibilities. You will also ensure that the goals, objectives and optimization initiatives are achieved, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
