Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Information Technology Supervisor, you will be part of the Information Technology Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Network support by providing assistance and backup for server administration, setup user accounts and groups, analyze and resolve network connection problems and maintain inventory and security of systems;
- IT Tier1 and 2 support by contributing to the administration of the IT help desk, providing workstation support services to users, load/support application software to meet user needs, procure new workstations and provide adequate training to users;
- Providing LAN/WAN/satellite and phone (VoIP) support;
- Evaluating systems and procedures to gauge effectiveness, implementing alternative systems if required and remain knowledgeable of new technology applicable to the Detour Lake Mine site.
What You Need To Succeed
- College Diploma from a technical program in computer systems;
- Minimum 1 to 2 years related work experience;
- Training in LAN/WAN technologies, Backup Solutions, VPN software and VoIP phone systems is considered an asset.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada
