Your Next Challenge
As part of the Finance Technology EPM team, you will be a key contributor to the management, optimization, and strategic development of Agnico’s Enterprise Performance Management solution. You will ensure future-ready and automated finance processes delivering high return on investment in finance technology. You will maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users to understand impacts regarding configuration, process, workflow and reporting, while bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will lead efforts to develop and improve global planning models, financial reports, and embedded analytics available for management at different levels of the organization. You will be working closely with the end users at mine sites, regions, and corporate departments to ensure an efficient and effective use of our EPM platform.
- Take strategic ownership of internal customer relationships including cross-departmental management and development of performance management solutions.
- Evaluate and prioritize features and initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and resource capacity that supports durable growth and scale.
- Work proactively with end users to develop and improve global planning models (budget/forecast/LOM) and financial reports for management at different levels in the global organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring clarity and understanding of objectives.
- Analyze data sets to derive actionable insights, identify trends, and support decision-making processes.
- Identify inefficiencies in workflows or systems and propose solutions to optimize business processes.
- Create detailed documentation of requirements, workflows, and outcomes, including business requirement documents and user stories.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of project objectives.
- Collaborate with IT and design teams to ensure that technical solutions align with business needs and enhance user experience.
- Lead the development of business value statements for new technology solutions.
- Plan and execute training sessions with the end users to maximize impact from the overall technology stack in use.
- Lead the creation of test cases and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet requirements.
- Develop and maintain cross-enterprise relationships and communications with mine sites, corporate and regional teams addressing planning and analysis models in the company’s EPM systems.
- Actively participate in developing, maintaining and leading various aspects of the global data management program with the aim of providing management with reporting and analytics using the EPM stack of technologies.
- Lead planning and execution of various projects and initiatives that seek to further corporate strategy and goals.
What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, IT or other relevant field of study.
- CPA/CMA/CFA/MBA.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in business analysis or a related role.
- Experience implementing or being an advanced end user of EPM solutions, such as Oracle Hyperion, OneStream, Anaplan, or equivalent.
- Experience from using visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Fluency in French is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with AI and ML.
- Familiarity with Databricks or a similar tool.
- Scrum methodology experience.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from our Corporate Office in Toronto, ON. Recurring visits to site are required (~30% travel).
