Superintendent I, Procurement & Sourcing
The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To manage and execute procurement activities for operational and project requirements in line with company policies, production requirements, commercial objectives, and governance standards. Therole is responsible for sourcing, supplier engagement, expediting oversight, stakeholder support, and supervision of procurement personnel to ensure timely availability of goods and services required for operations.
You will have the following:
- Must have a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Procurement or Supply Chain Management
- Must have at least 6 Years local purchasing experience in the mining sector.
- Must have previous experience with Integrated Information Management Systems
- Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French and Swahili will be considered highly advantageous.
Technical Skills should include:

- Procurement Operations Management- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for operational and project requirements
- Supplier & Commercial Management-develop and maintain effective working relationships with approved suppliers
- Stakeholder Engagement & Service Delivery build effective relationships with internal stakeholders. -
- Reporting & Governance- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Team Supervision & Development- Supervise assigned procurement personnel.
- HSEQ Responsibilities- Comply with all HSEQ standards and company procedures.
