Metso to start employee negotiations in Kiuruvesi production unit in Finland

Metso will start employee negotiations regarding temporary lay-offs and possible permanent reduction of personnel in MW Biopower Oy ´s Kiuruvesi production unit in Finland in order to adjust its operations to decreasing order backlog and structural changes in the business operations. The negotiations affect blue-collar employees in the Kiuruvesi production unit, altogether 44 people. The negotiations do not affect the services function and white-collar employees.
