NL Technologies hires new Business Development Manager

NLT Australia Pty Ltd has hired Jeremy Harkins, an Asia Pacific-based Business Development Manager, who will help expand the company’s market reach in Australasia.

Mr. Harkins joins NLT with an extensive background in IT and mining, with more than 15 years in the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Harkins’ expertise includes executive posts with global companies in Sales and Marketing, Project Development and Asset Management, most recently being involved with key negotiations throughout the government sector.

Together with NLT’s parent entity NL Technologies inToronto, Canada, the company is experiencing unprecedented growth. This is seen in both its traditional product stream of cap lamps, and even more significantly through the pioneering of their Digital Communication Systems. NLT Digital is leading the way in underground mining Wi-Fi communications including tracking of personnel and assets, Airflow and Environmental Monitoring, VoIP and 2-way text messaging over Wi-Fi and Proximity Detection.
