PT Pamapersada extends efficiencies and equipment life with Immersive Technologies

As the deadline for IM’s March issue comes close (including an article on maintenance), there is news of PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) continuing to expand and strengthen its operator training programs throughout Indonesia with repeat purchases of Immersive Technologies’ Advanced Equipment Simulators. Such simulators can bring rise to major improvements in maintenance. As the largest Indonesian mining contractor in Southeast Asia, with a developing workforce of over 4,000 operators (2008), PAMA recognised the need for a training solution that could directly impact on improving operator safety, increasing productivity, while reducing unscheduled maintenance costs caused by operator misuse.
