Queensland Mining Corporation seeks to expand Young Australian copper project
Queensland Mining Corporation (ASX:QMN) has commenced initial resource drilling for the expansion of its Young Australian copper project in Queensland.
According to Pro-Active Investors the company hopes to expand existing JORC resources of 2.13 million tonnes of copper at the Young Australian lease, with the 27 hole reverse circulation program seeking to ascertain the continuity of copper deposits between the Young Australian and East Drift properties.
Geochemical testing performed at the project site have also determined the existence of two new iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) style targets beyond the Young Australian areas which have already been drilled.
