Ramirent supplies rental solution for Garpenberg expansion

Ramirent Sweden has been selected as a total solution supplier of rental equipment in the expansion of Boliden’s operations at the Garpenberg mine near Hedemora, Sweden. The value of the agreement is about €7.9 million over the next three years. Boliden’s investment in the expansion of the Garpenberg mine totals about SEK3.9 billion. The project will increase the production of zinc ore from the current 1.4 to 2.5 Mt/y. Ramirent will supply heavy equipment, lifts as well as other rental equipment and accessories to all subcontractors operating at the site during the entire project. In addition, Ramirent will deliver office, changing room, washroom and canteen modules for project workforce. (more…)
