The new HEROTM 9: essential for your drilling needs in hard ground

Fordia is launching a new diamond bit on the Canadian market that adds to its HERO^TM range. Just like the HERO^TM 3, the HERO^TM 7 and the HERO^TM 11, the all-new HERO^TM 9 offers a penetration/lifespan ratio that surpasses other core bits in its class. This core bit is also more resistant to high drilling pressures, making it easier to use. The Canadian-designed HERO^TM range is manufactured according to Fordia’s highest standards of quality. Together, the HERO^TM range of four core bits can now tackle ground ranging from 3.5 to 7.5 on the Moh’s hardness scale.

The HERO^TM 9 is designed for very hard ground rated between 6 and 7.5 on the Mohs scale. It stands out from the competition thanks to its longer lifespan and impressive penetration rate, which allow it to drill faster and longer.

Fordia’s R&D team created this matrix through extensive field tests that enabled its optimization. Dozens of tests with numerous drilling companies across multiple sites have demonstrated that the HERO^TM 9 has a lifespan 150% longer than the competition. The HERO^TM 9 is engineered to exceed expectations and boost the performance of drilling crews.

The HERO^TM 9 is ideal for drilling through plutonic and volcanic rocks, such as granite or syenite, or similar rock formations.
