BHP Billiton Limited awards Macmahon Holdings Ltd. AUD 200 million Olympic Dam contract extension

BHP Billiton Limited has awarded Macmahon Holdings Ltd. a three-year extension of its Underground Development Services (UDS) contract covering the company’s Olympic Dam project in South Australia.

Under the terms of the agreement, Macmahon Holdings Ltd. will perform underground development works, install ground support, including shotcreting and cablebolting, and handle load and haul operations.

The AUD 200 million (USD 209 million) three-year contract can be further renewed for an additional year.
