Fordia takes Top Honors once more and receives the Canada Awards for Excellence

Montreal, October 30th 2013 – After receiving the Grand Prix Québécois de la Qualité, (Quebec Quality Awards) last November, Fordia takes Top Honors again! Leading manufacturer in the diamond-drilling industry, Fordia received today the Canada Awards for Excellence Gold Trophy in the Quality Award.

Obtained in its highest distinction, this award highlights Fordia’s outstanding performance for its high quality standards. It is the utmost distinction given by Excellence Canada. The prestigious issuing organism mentioned that the Canada Awards for Excellence “is based on the Canadian Framework for Excellence, which is used by numerous organizations as a management model for continuous improvement and the achievement of significant operational results”.

Luc and Alain Paquet, Fordia’s owners, have received the award along with Denis Landry, General Manager and Executive Vice-President, during the 2013 Canada Awards for Excellence ceremony on Thursday, October 30th, at the Toronto Westin Harbour Castle hotel. “I am extremely proud of our employees’ accomplishments since the company was founded in 1977”, stated Luc Paquet. “Thanks to the combined efforts of all of our departments, the company has achieved new heights in terms of performance.
