Mark Gilbreath Elected to TSI Board of Directors

COLUMBUS, Ohio – River Consulting is pleased to announce that Mark Gilbreath, Director of Business Development, has been elected, to represent its sister company Devco, to The Sulphur Institute’s (TSI) Board of Directors. The announcement was made by TSI at its annual meeting, which was held in Barcelona, Spain, in April.

Gilbreath has worked for more than 35 years as an engineering and technical subject matter expert. In addition to sulphur, he has provided valuable consulting and engineering services to a variety of industries. His core area of expertise includes dry bulk material handling equipment associated with marine import and export facilities.

The Sulphur Institute “is an international, non-profit organization established in 1960. The Institute is the global advocate for sulphur, representing all stakeholders engaged in producing, consuming, trading, handling or adding value to sulphur. We seek to provide a common voice for all stakeholders to promote the uninterrupted, efficient and safe handling and transportation of all sulphur products while protecting the best interests of the environment.”

As a member of the TSI Board of Directors, one area Gilbreath will focus on will be increasing membership with equipment suppliers in the sulphur industry. Speaking about his election, Gilbreath stated one of the aspects of the role he is most looking forward to “is the opportunity to engage with industry thought leaders.” Being a member of the TSI Board of Directors is a three year commitment, and Gilbreath will serve through 2018.  Speaking from Washington, D.C., TSI’s president and CEO, Robert McBride said, “We appreciate the years of support Devco has provided to TSI through its membership and welcome Mark’s lead in demonstrating the value TSI brings to the industry, most notably through his engagement of equipment suppliers.”
