Repeat Order for Tenova Delkor from DMSA

In an order from an existing client, Dynatec Madagascar SA (DMSA), Tenova Delkor is supplying an additional 80 metre diameter ore thickener mechanism for the Ambatovy Joint Venture in Madagascar.  The order for the thickener was received by Tenova Delkor Sub-Saharan Africa and is part of Ambatovy’s capital program. Tenova Delkor, an industry specialist in solid / liquid separation and mineral processing applications, previously supplied Delkor Thickeners to Ambatovy in 2007.

The thickener offers a number of advantages specific to the conditions at Ambatovy.  For example, a feed dilution system which enhances the thickening of the feed, utilizing a forced dilution technology.

The order was signed in November 2013, with the thickener mechanism due for delivery mid 2014.  Tenova Delkor’s scope of work covers design, supply, delivery, supervision of installation and commissioning.
