South Africa’s Harmony says FY output exceeds guidance

JOHANNESBURG, July 23 (Reuters) – South Africa’s Harmony Gold said on Monday annual bullion production for 2018 has exceeded its guidance, boosted by its Moab Khotsong operation.

Gold production was 4 percent more at 1.228 million ounces for the full-year compared with guidance of 1.18 million ounces. Harmony said its newly acquired Moab Khotsong mine produced 105,900 ounces for the four months the operation has been included in its asset portfolio.
