Solitario Exploration and Royalty up for the week after zinc drill results
Solitario Exploration & Royalty (TSE:SLR) said today that its drilling results at its Bongará zinc joint venture project in Peru were “outstanding”.
During the last five trading days, Solatario has gained 7.41% and is currently trading at $1.45.
Drill hole highlights were the following:
- V-240 that intersected 26.85 meters grading 13.45% zinc+lead (“Zn+Pb”)
- V-244 that intersected 32.1 meters grading 11.4% Zn+Pb
- Surface drill hole V-234 intersected 5.9 meters grading 24.1% Zn+Pb
- Surface drill hole V-235 that intersected 7.2 meters grading 14.9% Zn+Pb.
Solitario’s 2011 exploration program was funded and managed by Solitario’s joint venture partner, Votorantim Metais. Votorantim Metais can earn up to a 70% interest in the project by committing to place the project into production based upon a positive feasibility study.
