The venture exchange stops three-day slide

The TSX is up marginally after three days of losses.

The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index is up 1,2225.240 or 0.21% as of 10:24 a.m. The S&P/TSX Composite Index is off 0.20% to 11,787.220.

The major American exchanges are down. The Dow Jones is off 0.09% and the S&P 500 is off 0.10%.

Gold continues to lose ground and is at $1,710.40, a loss of 0.20%. Silver is off 1.60%.

Crude oil is up 1.05% to $86.35.
