The oceans cover 75% of the earth surface but much of it is unexplored. The illustration shows why. The depths are great.
Xkcd.com even threw in the trapped Chilean miners, all the way over on the far right.

Infographics are useless unless they’re in high res with readable text. This is just a bunch of brown blobs with no narrative. #Fail.
