Mining businesses will struggle to realize the full benefits of the Internet of Things (IoT) if they cannot improve their cybersecurity capabilities. The latest research from Inmarsat shows that most mining businesses recognize they are unprepared for the cybersecurity defences that IoT solutions require, with 94% admitting that their approach to cybersecurity could be improved, and 64% reporting that they need additional staff skilled in cybersecurity to safely deploy IoT.
