Savage today announced upcoming leadership changes at the Utah-based supply chain solutions company, which has more than 3,500 employees in over 200 locations across North America and internationally.

Savage, a leading supply chain solutions company, has acquired third-party logistics company Trans Dynamics, an established provider of over-dimensional, intermodal, LTL and specialized logistics services.

Savage today announced an agreement with CSX to provide locomotive fueling services at 30 sites across the CSX network in the eastern United States. CSX is a premier rail transportation supplier, with 21,000 route miles of track in 23 states, the District of Columbia and Canada.

Savage has expanded crude-by-rail and truck transportation services in Western Canada. These services are being offered at two new terminals in Unity, Saskatchewan and Northern Sunrise County in Alberta. The combined crude-by-rail transload capacity of these terminals is 30,000 barrels per day (bpd) with direct access to Class 1 rail service. There is a shortage of outbound access for crude produced in Western Canada, making these new terminals and expanded services in high demand by the market.
