Five men trapped in China mine flood
A rescue team has been working in rotation around the clock for three days in order to save the lives of five trapped miners in northeast China.
The flood took place at an iron ore mine in Liaoning Procvince on Saturday at about 3 pm.
Rescuers had not located the workers by early morning Monday.
Back in May, a flood at an iron ore mine in Shandong Province killed nine men and left another one missing. The municipal government blamed the flood on illegal mining operations.
