KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Senior Officer Sales & Commercial
The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To coordinate offtake and logistics administration functions, including client liaison, data validation and reconciliation of all products, to ensure both off-takers and off-take customers receive excellent service. The incumbent monitors, analyses and controls logistics costs in addition to processing provisional invoices, reviewing final settlement supporting documents (Inland & Ocean), performing interest calculations and checking assay exchange calculations.
You will have the following:
- Must have a degree in Business Administration /Logistics / Customes
- Must have at least 5 years dealing with buyers in imports / exports in the mining environment
- Previous working experience in the DRC is an added advantage
- Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French and Swahili will be considered highly advantageous.

Your Key Performance Activities will include but not limited to:
- Coordinate and administer delivery of concentrate and blister quotas
- Coordinate and engage with the buyers to ensure quotas are met for both concentrate & blister copper,Copper Anode, Acid
- Administer and supervise in-country tolling agreements (with, i.e. Lualaba Copper Smelter (LCS))
- Drive effective problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Enable IT Efficiencies and MMS WIER system operation
- Prepare and analyse daily I monthly progress and reconciliation reports
- Stakeholder management- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery and collaboration
