KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Foreman, Electrical
The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To plan, develop and execute all underground electrical installations and operations on the Kakula mine. The incumbent supervises specialists and the scope/portfolio of this role includes the management and supply of water and power, and the maintenance of equipment for the purposes of mining operations and business continuity.
You will have the following:
- Must have a Trade tested Certificate as n Electrician
- Must have a N3 Certificate / diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Must have a medium voltage training course certificate
- Must have at least 10 years post qualification experience as a qualified Electrician in a mining environment
- Must have at least 5 experience supervisory experience
- Certification as Foreman is an added advantage
- Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French and Swahili will be considered highly advantageous.

- Stakeholder management- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
- People - Coordinate, monitor and supervise the performance of direct reports
- Finance: Monitor costs or expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies and reduce waste
- Transformation -Support the Transformation agenda
- HSEQ: Integrate HSEQ into all work processes
