Job Description
Redpath Australia are seeking applications for
Graduate Mining, Civil and Mechanical Engineers and
Graduate Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Professionals to undertake our tailored Graduate Development Program and gain practical experience on multiple mine sites in a variety of different roles.
We are committed to giving graduates the best training and experience possible and have created a program that enables graduates to gain extensive exposure across various sites in Metalliferous, Coal, and Specialized Drilling.
The Redpath Graduate Development Program is a three (3) year engagement designed to complement the professional’s academic education and existing work experience to ensure that graduates joining Redpath continue to grow and be challenged both professionally and personally. Redpath value the professionals on the Program and see them as a critical part of the future success of the company.
For Engineering Graduates, the program focuses on developing management and technical skills and providing the training and experience required to successfully complete a First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate (or equivalent).
For OHS Graduates, the program is designed to build strong practical safety capability, leadership skills, and the experience required to become a well-rounded safety professional within the mining industry.
While the framework for the program is detailed, each graduate will be treated as an individual, with their personal needs, existing experience and future aspirations taken into consideration. Some graduates may have a preference for a particular sector (metalliferous or coal); however, our diversity allows opportunities to gain experience across both where required.
Redpath will appoint a Coordinator to oversee the program, working with General Managers and Project Managers to ensure adequate and effective training and development is occurring. The Coordinator will also act as a resource and mentor for graduates.
