Your Impact
You will lead the Sourcing Services team to deliver accurate, compliant, and high-quality sourcing operations. Your leadership will ensure strong supplier data integrity, effective bidding and contract support, and consistent delivery of sourcing services, directly strengthening Newmont’s global supply chain performance
As Part of Our Team, You Will
- Lead, assign, and monitor day-to-day sourcing service activities, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Oversee delivery against standards of accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Guide team members in preparing supplier information for evaluation, decision-making, and risk assessment.
- Provide supplier performance insights (cost, reliability, sustainability, quality, and delivery timelines).
- Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to system/tool enhancements (ERP/SAP/Ariba).
- Participate in auditing, compliance checks, and data-quality remediation.
- Coach, develop, and upskill team members to reinforce capability and performance across the function.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with a preference for SAP / Ariba.
- Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes, supply chain life cycles, contract management, and supplier management models (global/local).
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, including bidding processes and contract management.
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role within sourcing, procurement, or shared services.
- Strong people management capabilities with emphasis on coaching, delegation, follow-through, and performance oversight.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead with structure, maintain standards, and drive efficiency in a service-delivery environment.

- Compensation aligned with the local Costa Rican market (CRC).
- Relocation is not offered for this role.
